Common Questions
Registration FAQs
Have questions before you register? We've answered the most common ones below. If you don't see your question here, reach out to our team — we're happy to help.
Who is eligible to register for H.O.P.E. programs?
H.O.P.E. serves BIPOC individuals and underserved adults in New Mexico — particularly those facing barriers related to poverty, homelessness, incarceration, unemployment, or limited access to education and resources. If you're ready to take steps toward stability and a better future, we want to hear from you. Eligibility for specific services may depend on available funding and program capacity.
Is there a cost to register or participate?
Registration and program participation are free of charge. H.O.P.E. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Certain support services — such as transportation assistance, stipends, housing support, and childcare resources — are available based on eligibility, program funding, and capacity.
What happens after I submit the registration form?
A member of the H.O.P.E. program team will contact you within 2-3 business days using your preferred contact method to confirm your registration, answer your questions, and discuss which session or program best fits your needs.
What should I bring to my first session?
For your first orientation or session, bring a valid photo ID if you have one, and be ready to complete a brief intake and needs assessment. If you don't have an ID, let us know — we may be able to connect you with resources to help obtain one.
Are accommodations available for participants with disabilities?
Yes. H.O.P.E. is committed to accessibility. If you require accommodations — including mobility access, language interpretation, large-print materials, or other support — please note your needs in the 'Additional Support Needs' field on the registration form, or contact us directly so we can plan ahead.
Is language support available?
We strive to make our programs accessible to all community members. If you or a family member prefer to communicate in a language other than English, please let us know when you register or when you contact us — we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Can I register on behalf of someone else?
Yes, with that person's knowledge and consent. Please note in the Message field that you are registering on behalf of another participant, and provide their contact information so our team can follow up directly with them.
